The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the location. It was only a 2-minute walk to the lake, which was absolutely perfect for us. We even had a great view of the Castello from our room. The hotel staff provided excellent service and the basic amenities were all there. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a 20" LCD TV and RGB connector. The AC worked well and cooled the room down quickly. The room was also very dark, thanks to the shutters, which ensured a good night's sleep.
Everything was fine, nothing that needed improvement.

In an area that serves so many tourists, it was a delight to find a hotel where they truly care about making their clients happy. Gisberto, his wife and sisters could not have been more helpful...including correcting my Italian (at my request!) They are a wealth of knowledge. At check in Gisberto provided me with maps, boat schedules and recommendations of cities on the lake to visit. The hotel is about a 20 minute easy downhill walk from the station if you have rolling luggage, but I took a cab back (uphill). The boat terminal on the lake is only 10-12 minute walk. Also, there are literally dozens of restaurants and bars nearby. But the very best part is the incredibly hospitality of the hosts! I highly recommend this hotel.

Free parking, close to downtown and the beach, good breakfast
Old hotel produces a painful impression, very close pretty noisy road. During the trip, we lived in a much more modern and new hotels for the same money.

The hotel is comfortable and clean. The staff are very polite and helpful and the room is clean, with airconditioning and security shutters that allow the room to be secure, cool and dark when sleeping. The breakfast is nice and nourishing and the staff, who speak English, look after you when you have a question. The location is excellent being only a 100 meters or so from the lake front and very close to restaurants and shopping and a short walk to the ferry for boat trips to other towns along the lake. We will stay again.

The hotel was centrally located, and close to the lake shore. The staff were excellent, and the proprietors share our love of classical music, so it was great to hear classical music played through the hotel's sound system. They were also very knowledgeable, and spoke English (and other languages) fluently. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which was of a high standard. We would definitely stay there again if the occasion arises.

Very friendly staff, good location, good value for money, good breakfast and nice showers. Clean (though very small) rooms with good air- conditioning. Overall a very nice simple hotel which I would recommend and return to.
The entrance to the hotel after 11pm was directly below my room. We stayed on a weekend, and as the night went on I could hear groups of progressively drunker and louder hotel guests returning. Perhaps the hotel could put up a sign asking people to respect the other guests and keep the noise down? Otherwise no complaints about this hotel.

We had a memorable stay at a hotel in Desenzano del Garda recently. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the waterfront. The hotel had a charming old-fashioned vibe and was clean and comfortable. We loved the rooftop terrace, where we could relax and enjoy beautiful views of the lake. The breakfast spread was excellent, with fresh croissants, pancakes, fruit, and a variety of other delicious options. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to explore Lake Garda.

The hotel is conveniently located, close to the beautiful town center and within walking distance of some excellent restaurants. It's also quite close to everything, making it easy to explore the area. The staff at this hotel are fantastic, providing attentive service and going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The basic amenities are all in place, including rooms with a view and the option for an extra bed. The recently upgraded rooms add a touch of modernity, although the showers are a bit small. Additionally, the breakfast offered at this hotel is tasty and provides a good selection of fresh options.
All was satisfactory.
